|

hi. i was wondering if anyone here has heard back from their recruiter about whether/when they're scheduled for an SMOE interview. my recruiter submitted my application over a week ago, but SMOE hasn't gotten back to her yet. is that a bad sign? are most attractive applicants notified about an interview date immediately? how long do applicants usually have to wait to hear whether they've made it to the next round?
thanks! |

Given that SMOE won't start any new teachers for another 4 months, I wouldn't worry too much about not having an interview yet. Still, there is a lot of competition for SMOE these days and if you are a newbie you might want to keep your options open - ie either consider hagwons or Gyeonggi-Do/other cities' public school jobs. |
