I googled and searched but couldnt find an answer. Instead of subscribing to a forum I have no interest in, I would try this one.
In the Le Mans race. What is the difference between the GT1 and GT2 classes? Is gt2 more stock? |

Pulled from a website...
"GT1 allows the use of exotic materials, better aerodynamics, larger brakes, wider tires and larger engine admission restrictors."
So basically you're right! |

A bit more specific, LeMans has 4 levels, the LeMans Prototypes, or LMP1 and LMP2 and then the Grand Tourer, or GT1 and GT2. Speed, weight, and power output are used to divide the cars into the 4 groups. So while a car may have more exotic parts, if it's speed, weight, and power suck, it wouldn't necessarily be put into the GT1 category.
Either way, you can't afford one. |
