| Do you need a medical check up if you are on an F4 visa? My school is saying that I need to get one by the end of this year. I'm just curious as to why they need one after 10 months of working for them. |

I'm on an F-4 and EPIK requires all teachers, F-4 or not, to get the medical exam done. If you are working at a private school or hogwon, generally it isn't needed as you only need the medical done to obtain the E-2. |

| To GET an F4 visa, you don't need a medical check. However to work at a hagwun, I'd say it's up to them whether they want you to get one. And I think it's probably required at public schools. As for why they want one from you after 10 months, that's between you and them.. |
