So my teacher arrived back from a NET meeting the other day, and out of the meeting one thing emerged that was particluarly important to me: -
This is that all overtime for teaching should be at no more than 20k per hour.
For me this was a problem as I haven't been paid yet for work I have already done, which I agreed on based on a higher rate of pay. (Excluding these hours, I am already working over 22 hours of normal classes)

As I was told, this will be backdated for work that has already been paid for, and the schools will have to clawback money that was paid to NETs at a higher rate.

I find this somewhat worrying, and I assume I am not going to be the only one in the same position. Surely any attempt to not pay an hourly rate that was agreed and worked on the basis of, is illegal?

At my school I sign a separate contract for these classes. If the same is the case for you, it is highly illegal to "claw back" that money.

I dont have a written contract for the lessons, but the school accept they agreed a rate higher than 20k.
But it's GEPIK who dont seem to want to pay up.

I am convinced this is illegal!

If it's written in your contract, it's illegal to suddenly change the rate. I would gather your resources and calculate the exact amount you need to be given according to the originally assigned amount per overtime hour. Be persuasive and talk to the right people.
