Does anyone know of any BMX freestyle parks in/around Seoul? I know there's a scene here as well as a decent BMX shop in Sangsu, but I don't think I've ever seen any half pipes or bowls anywhere, nor do I know anyone who rides that I can ask. |

Easy. Ordered from crappiest to least crappy.
1. Ttuksum Resort
1.5. Banpo Bridge (south side)
2. Dongdaemun (somewhere behind the main drag, never been there myself)
3. Boramae Park (real nice, get to know the management - you won't regret it) |

I don't think so. My friend who rides there doesn't go with pads - but the DJ/Urban guys do. |

I realize that it's probably outside your range, but if you're in the area for a weekend, Chuncheon has an amazing new sports park with two BMX/skate parks plus a climbing wall and various other greatness. Worth bringing your bike if you're heading this way. |

Sounds good. I haven't been on one for awhile, just mountain bikes so I need to get used to the weight and size before I hit up some ramps. Sounds like that would be a good weekend. Come up to Chuncheon, grab a hotel, check out the park for the day, drop off the bike and have some dakgalbi and soju.
Is that Italian restaurant/pub still there? I read about it a couple of years ago and it sounded like it had good beer and food. |
