My school wants me to have a short play with my kids for the school Christmas hoo-ha. I have a class of 10, and the oldest is 3, the youngest being 19 months!
I have been having a hell of a time coming up with ideas for a play that would involve little talking/stage directions and the opportunity for them to look cute.
The older kids (maybe about 4 of them) can speak English OK, and would be good for a line or 2 but the rest have no abilities. I can do the narration in English, but that's about it.
I was thinking the 5 billy goats gruff and herding them one by one across the stage, but that's all I got so far. Any ideas? HELP! |

Having them sing a song or two is far more realistic than a play.
Dress them all up as reindeer and have them sing "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" or "Jingle Bells" or whatever is cutesy to keep the parents happy. |

Your post reminds me of the scene in "The Bells of St. Mary's" where the kids improvise a play about Christmas being Jesus' birthday. Every time they do it, it comes out different. |
