Hey guys, moved to Korea with the latest batch of EPIK teachers and been havin a good time so far. Question for any gamers which may have been here longer than me. I recently tried to grab a game at direct2drive.com and it told me that I couldnt download it because of my IP area or something like that. I was, however, able to re-download games I had already purchased in North America. Is there a way around this other than having someone in North America make the purchase for me?
Also, can you get games through Steam? I played a couple games on Steam last year but didn't really check it out too much. If you can get games from Steam, is it the same deal as direct2drive.com, or can you purchase them from this area?
Thanks for any info!

You could use a VPN like Hotspot shield to hook yourself up with a US IP then make the purchase (maybe, I've never tried to buy from D2D).
Didn't know they were regional. Pretty lame. |

I had to email Steam customer support that I wanted to purchase a game but lived outside of the States. Quick response and everything went smooth. |
