I'm torn between these 3.
ipod touch, Microsoft Zune HD, or Samsung YP-P3. I am thinking 16GB for size.
Does anyone have any recommendations, or own any one of these and would like to point out anything good/bad that might have been missed by a reviewer?
I like the idea of the touch or the Zune because of wifi, but how easy is it to connect, especially in Korea? And the Samsung appeals because it's cheaper than the other two....but would I be sacrificing too much?
Maybe you have another PMP not mentioned here and think thats better........i'm all ears!
Thanks |

I'm not convinced that I need internet yet in a portable device....not for my daily routine......so I wouldn't spend a small fortune an the Ipod Touch, although it is an excellent PMP except for the fact that it doesn't support the commonly used video and audio files.
Don't know anything about the Zune.
I've heard the Samsung P3 is very like the one I recommend, the Cowon S9. Both are around 260,000 for 16GB (half the price of the ipod touch).
Both will play MP3 and AVI files without any conversion or transfer software.
So you can download, plug in the USB, drag and drop into your player.......play instantly.
Until Apple bring out a device which will do this, I won't buy Apple. |

I didn't know that about the touch. That is a deal breaker for me too.
I'm still happy with my D2, I use it mainly as an mp3 player/dictionary though. |
