Just looking at the KMA website... it says it'll rain on Saturday and for Seoul, the temperatures are going to be 15 high and 12 low - well yes, it rains, so one expects the temp. to drop.

But fast forward to Monday and Tuesday - they are predicting a high of 5' on Monday, 7' on Tuesday, and a low of 0 on Monday and -2 on Tuesday????

That's WINTER temperature, not mid-autumn!!!!

Have they got it right?????

Next week = November. November = fall. Fall = cool + windy. Winter does not start untill December 1st. They must have made a mistake.

The best website in Korea to check the weather is naver, you can check here http://weather.naver.com/, it updates every 2 hours.

Back home it froze for the first time almost a month ago. If Korea really does have 4 seasons, its about time for it to cool off. Interested to see what this does to the flu though.

For the past three weeks in Ulsan it's always been high 22, low 10. I remember last year it did something similar in October where it just stayed the same for weeks. Not that I'm complaining; the weather is great now. I'm glad I don't have to wear my parka on my motorcycle.

They're right. My co-teacher warned me about a big drop in temp yesterday...probably because I refuse to wear a coat.

Yahoo weather predicts a low of -1 (high of 4 degrees) on Monday... following a wet but mild enough weekend in Seoul!!

Yes..it is true. The weather changes very quickly and suddenly.
There is very little Autumn in Korea..

Be prepared is all one can advise I guess..

Weather forecasting in this country is worse than useless. In Busan anyway. Over the last couple of months it's said it's going to rain the next day about 15-18 times ...and NEVER has...

Which brings me to the bizarre ability of Koreans to produce an umbrella from nowhere. One minute sunny, nobody has an umbrella. Next minute sudden rain, everybody has an umbrella!! where did they come from? it's impossible! they didn't-have-them-before! something is going on here that i'm suspicious of..it just doesn't add up.

The longer I'm in Korea the more I feel like im in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Intellicast.com usually gets it right, at least for the next day.

Woke to a blanket of snow here in Sokcho today. Its been coming down nonstop all morning.

Coincidentally, I'm in the middle of reading Snow by Orhan Pamuk. Brilliant novel.
