Any skiers/snowboarders know a website that gives snow reports/forecasts for all the Korean ski resorts?
All the usual ski sites completely ignore Korean resorts even though most give the forecast and conditions for places like Kamchatka, Turkey, Morocco, etc.
Also, when can we expect the Korean ski resorts to open? |

I'm not a skier, but I was with my senior on Tuesday and said he got a message from the ski resorts saying that they'll be opening soon (mind you, it was a really cold day).
So apparently, expect them to open sometime soon. |

A word to the wise....if at all possible try to ski during the week. I have never seen so many people on one mountain in my life as when I went skiing in Korea. It was truly insane and more or less a waste of money as the waits at the lift were sometimes 30-40 minutes. |

When it was freezing on Tuesday, I got excited and booked a condo at High One resort for this weekend. Now the resort says that they may or may not have snow. If no snow, we go hiking. If snow, we go boarding. It really just has to be cold enough--they will make their own snow!!
In regards to your question, I think it's best to just check with each individual resort. There aren't that many of them. |
