| i've seen a lot of thai girls on the Internet. They weren't so great. Also, have you ever met one who wasn't a prostitute? They kindof have an international reputation for that. |

man, how come everybody keeps remembering that but I can't even find my own dang post anymore. I was gonna bump it for more internet cred.
I should say i've never been to Thailand or met any Thai girls so I know zero about them. And I acknowledge that the Internet is a very poor teacher on pretty much any subject. Please don't hate me!
And are there any treatments that completely get rid of all the hair on your head so you can just stop shaving? Besides waiting 40 years, that is... |

I am fairly certain that there are more prostitutes in South Korean than in Thailand. Unfortunately, Thailand just happens to be more famous for it due to some sex tourists who go there. But really, outside of a few infamous places, Thailand is quite normal and relaxed. |

Yes, that is right. I have been on a couple of elephants in Thailand. The second time, I actually rode on the elephant's head since they were short by one elephant driver. They really are incredible and intelligent animals. |

Reputation for prostitution? Thai gals? Not has much as korean gals!
Look at all the massage joints throughout korea! Red light districts! Barber shops fronting as prostitution! Why do you think it's so difficult for a single korean female to get a visa to the U.S.? You can go to any major city in the U.S. or Canada and you will find dozens of korean massage joints! |

dude i didn't compare thai girls to korean girls at all. I just said that thai girls have an international reputation for prostitution, which nobody can deny.
Why do you think I'm even saying Korean girls are better? is it my spanish username? the fact that I put up pix with me and two Japanese cosplayers? Or my posts complaining about my failed relationship with a black girl from new york, perhaps?

Uh,... the tiny fraction of Thai girls that are in prostitution are mostly said to be from Issan in the Northeast, migrating to the foreign tourist areas to make more in a day than they can make on the farm in a month.
Thai women are actually quite shy and conservative, and when they have a boyfriend get past second base it's because marriage is already in mind. Thai women are famous for THAT. They have a reputation for not sleeping around and for not playing guys (but of course, we are not talking about the English-speaking bargirls many a foreigner have picked up and thought was "love").
I like a particular Thai woman who works in one of the big shopping malls, have gone on a couple of dates, her English limited, and I've had advice from people - both Thai and foreigner - who have volunteered countless tidbits of information about Thai girls, and man, are they different than Korean and Western women in so many ways.

well grandpa, there are a lot of guys there who wonder the same thing and don't seem to mind too much, given the quality of companionship a Thai woman is said to provide.
Anyways... this thread is a takeoff of another thread that tries to assume that all male foreigners in Korea like Korean women. Well, not all of us do. In fact, many of us speak with fondness of Thai women! among others.
Here's hoping this thread gets some of those who are aware of the charms of the Thai. |

uh, no... I get the social role it plays, the mai pen rai, the chai yen yen, etc, I went through six books on Thai culture and plenty of websurfing to get a sense of the place before spending a month there, not to hang out in Phuket or to visit Soi Cowboy, though I did regret going against my better judgement and spent a couple of days near Khao San Road, ugh.
The Chiang Mai area is all it's cracked up to be, though the pushy louts of the tourism trade and the city's diesel fumes are not.
The Thai people, remarkable. Obviously this is not the place to talk about it. ajarn.com it is then.
Go back to the general forum and rave about Korean women and keep asking why all foreign males have the hots for Korean women |

Yeah, right. Until she loses her temper and tries to cut your manparts off with a rusty pair of scissors.
Thai women are dangerous if you anger them. Same with women from Myanmar. I met another poster on here, and his friend, for lunch once. The guy was divorced from one of these women. She used to get angry and beat him with the spike from her stilletto shoe. He has a scar on his arm in the shape of a stiletto heal point to prove it. Hilarious to see, but sad. |
