I bought a used LG Telecom cell phone from a former coworker, and he told me I just had to go to one of the stores to buy credit (no plan, just pre-paid). When I tried, all of them told me that I can't buy it from them, that I have to deposit money into an account at NH Bank. They looked up the account number on my phone and told me that the money would go straight to my cell phone. But their English was not so great and I'm wondering if this is how it really works. I don't want to give away money to some lucky NH Bank customer. Thanks! |

I had the exact same experience with a used phone I bought. The account number the people at the shop gave me works like a charm. Just test it once with a little bit of loot, you will immediately get a text informing you of your new minutes. Also, for my LG phone ##96 and send will get you a response text with your balance in it. |
