Hilarious.
As Japan's economic malaise continues and its need for immigration to meet its severe upcoming demographic problem becomes more acute, we'll undoubtedly be seeing more of this loveliness. This is, of course, assuming that the Japanese robots currently under development aren't able to solve everything (thereby allowing for a mass kick-the-foreigner-out campaign).
But those foreigners can always head over to SK if they need to, right? |

What are they protesting about? I mean, there aren't really that many foreigners in Japan, and most of them teach English. So it's not like they are stealing jobs that Japanese can do.
Maybe those Japanese forgot Japan got rich by exporting all of its crap to foreigners?? |

The Japanese police, far from controlling the whites, surrounded Shinjuku Stations south ticket gate with a large number of police officers and, from the beginning, kept us under surveillance. Neglecting the whites who were disturbing the social order and our peaceful society with their partying, they instead supervised us, who had gathered with the purpose of drawing attention to the party.
In order to break through the ring of police officers, we attempted to violently penetrate the circle shouting If youre gonna arrest us, go for it! For, why should we have our right to come and go freely denied? |
Protesting something because you think that something might cause a social disturbance seems like total insanity to me. If the party in question truly caused a social disturbance, the police would have delt with it, and could have delt with it far more effectively if they didn't have hypocritical protesters screaming at them. |

| Wow! A whole 50 cops called out to control the situation. It looks to me like the 'bust' was on the side of the anti-foreigner side. In a country of 150 million and you can't scare up more than that pitiful handful of nationalists, then you've got a problem...or a wimpy cause. |

The anti-Protestant remark on the one sign was interesting.
Has this Japanese nationalist group been infiltrated by the IRA or something? |

At least they are not asking: "Are Catholics really Christians" like they do here in Korea. |

The number of registered foreign residents in Japan hit a record high of 2,217,000 at the end of 2008, marking an increase of around 50 percent in the last decade, a report released by the Justice Ministry said Friday.
The registered foreign population was up 3 percent, or 64,000, from the previous year and accounts for 1.74 percent of Japan's total population, it said.
Chinese nationals accounted for the largest group of foreign residents at around 30 percent, or 655,000 people, followed by Koreans at 589,000, Brazilians at 313,000, Filipinos at 211,000 and Peruvians at 60,000. |

But aren't they protesting evil whitey here? I'm assuming so. And since whites stick out like a sore thumb, while the Chinese and Koreans blend in really well, I would guess they were protesting against the white minority rather than the Chinese or Koreans. There is probably a lot of anti american sentiment involved. A lot of this I am speculating of course. |

Who cares. It's a non-issue. A few crackpots getting together and shouting nonsense. 99.9999% of the rest of the country doesn't care.
Oh, and Japan is still cooler than Korea (in case the OP was wondering). |

The Yamanote Halloween "parties" are really just an excuse for maladjusted westerners in Tokyo to drink in public and harass the Japanese people around them. This incident was really quite foreseeable.
