Three show up (one, always and two sometimes/rarely). They're nice and pleasant and I like having them around.
One doesn't come very often. She is drop dead hot but when it comes to teaching shes about as useful as a slack and idle bag of hammers. |

Somewhere between co-worker and pop star. Closer to co-worker, but with a lot of extra kindness thrown in. They all mostly show up for class these days (although, with a couple, it's only because my amazing main co-teacher won't let them get away with not) and only one occasionally pisses me off. But, through talking to the older students at my school, I've come to understand her better and realize that the current second grade nightmares just have her up a tree. I actually feel bad for her. I only have to see the little devils once a week but she's got them everyday.... |

One of my co-teachers is very helpful. We work well together. The other has so much crap dumped on him, all I am is is slack time for him to do all the paperwork and enter it in the computer that he has to get done everyday.
All I do read read and make students read from the book......everybody hates it and is BORED stupid with it. I made lots of material, but he doesn't want me to use it. I'm glad to be moving to a new school in March. Been in the same schools for 2 years. |

Eh, I receive pretty mundane treatment from my co-teachers. No more, no less.
Wish I had a better story. |

I'm an academic highschool teacher, my co-teachers either don't come to class or just stand at the back. No stories from me either, it's a good setup. |

There should be a new category of training offered in TEFL courses called how to deal with uncooperative co-teachers.
1 co-teacher is as good as gold, does just what he should, let's me teach my half of the class, no major problems with him.
The other is well, less than good.

I just need a translator, basically. I wish my co-teachers would always be on hand to translate very difficult things for my students.
I often just give up and stick 한글 in the powerpoint along with the very difficult words. |

Are you the chick with the tatts who always writes posts in Korean?
Sorry to break it to you, but after you leave you will be replaced and no-one will notice the different face. |

I have tattoos, yes. But the always writing in Korean thing can't be me, since my Korean is still quite low. Luckily I'm not planning on leaving anytime soon, so I don't have to worry about that. Thanks for being unnecessarily catty, though. |

Meow.
That did seem random and uncalled for on Nero's part. |

I'm treated like a co-worker in terms of my contract, but in most other ways, I get way too much attention and awe from the Korean teachers and staff, and students of course. I tried to tell my coteachers that I won't be renewing my contract at the end of the year today because a few things about it really piss me off, but my two co-teachers somehow managed to convince me out of it--for the time being anyways. Not only do my coteachers always come to class, but they help out a ton with lesson planning and ideas. Great to have them along. I'm not too crazy about how so many of the other teachers are too afraid to talk to me, notwithstanding their English ability, because they feel I have no time for them or it will "bother" me. I'm the sole foreigner in the school! It definitely wouldn't bother me!

5 different co-teachers, all totally different. They all expect totally different things in the classroom and basically can't agree on anything. It's a win-win situation for me. |

Like a co-worker I guess.
My co-t leaves me alone. If I don't seek him out I could go weeks without seeing him. |
