He must not be on a E2 visa. He is kind of in a prime location by the store. I wonder if he pays rent for that space. I wonder if knitting would reduce stress? |

Haha, I saw him yesterday. He didn't look very happy. Pretty cold.
I would like to talk to him to see where he is from. |

Haven't seen him. Is it a non-Korean who stands outside and sells knitting accessories? Odd. |

Yep, he is a nice guy. And he does really good work! My gf bought a lovely scarf from him. And he does requests. You can ask him for a specific wool, etc etc |

Tried to strike up a conversation with him a couple of times but he was a bit standoffish (too bad for him, as I would have bought something from him otherwise).
Actually, I suspect the knitting is a front for something more sinister (gun running? human trafficking? black market money exchanging? dope selling? religious extremism? twelve stepper?) He is really somewhat of an enigma..................But what really frightens me is the toothless old hooker (from the 1960's?) who trolls nearby - near the ATM below Geckos.
Has anybody ever interviewed her? That would be a great story for one of the monthly expat mags! Gotta give her credit though, she has a good work ethic AND she always looks her best! |
