hi there,

have you ever heard of a recruiter requesting all documents upfront for public afterschool jobs?
i was told by the recruiter that most afterschool are marked asap, so she suggested that in order to secure a position, she wants to have the documents at their office first, cuz they go really fast, and now there is a deadline, and i am not in korea at the moment.

thanks

Never send a recruiter your documents without securing a position first. They can pull the old "bait and switch" tactic on you.

Recruiter: "I'm sorry but the position you wanted is now filled but [unsurprisingly] I have another good position that is great for you. This school wants a teacher right away [don't they all?] and I think it is great fit for you. [read as: I want my money]"

Just, don't do it!!!
