I did a phone interview last week EPIK. In the interview, she said it would be a good idea to bring at least $1,000 US dollars with me to Korea.
I was wondering if anyone else got this information in an interview?

Yes I got the same recommendation. We won't be getting paid for a month once we get there so we'll need money for food, entertainment, things for our apartments, etc... I'm sure people can get by on much less, but I'd rather have a nice cushion just in case anything comes up.

$1000 is a sensible suggestion.
