I'll be coming to Korea in a couple of weeks. I currently have a Citibank credit card here in the US that I'm wanting to pay off while I'm in Korea. What I'm wondering is how I can go about making payments on my card. If I open a Citibank account in Korea, will it have a bill pay option online? I've already talked to Citibank here in the US (very unhelpful, fyi) who informed me that accounts between here and Korea can't be linked, and a US checking/savings account won't be recognized at overseas branches. She also said she didn't think I can make payments online to my credt card from a foreign account. Does anyone know about this? Would it be better to leave my Bank of America checking account open and transfer money from Korea into it, and use this to pay my credit card every month?
I feel like this should be way easier than I'm making it, but everytime I call Citibank, I feel more confused |

| Yeah I've asked the same question from this end and the answer is the same - no way to link accounts. Same bank name different banks. |

| Sheesh, that seems like a pain! Does the "Korean" citibank have online banking/bill pay to US accounts? |
