I bought an LG phone from a coworker, who told me I could "top up" by going to any of the LG-serviced stores. When I tried, every single one told me that I couldn't top up there, and I had to put money into an account at NH Bank. They looked on my phone and wrote down the account number. Is this really how it works? If I transfer money to that account, will it go right onto my phone as credit? I don't want to make some lucky NH Bank customer happy!

I have an LG telecom phone and just went into an LG shop and paid for it. None of this sending money through an ATM.

I do an account transfer to top up my LG/Free-t phone. It's instant and painless.
