so... ive got a killer xmas box all laid out. my mum and my bro are all accounted for; black garlic, korean style scarves, soju and silly candy, etc...

its my old man im having a tough go with. he has no interest in VISITING korea, so photos of my time here in an album or calendar seem silly, hes got no style-- so clothes wouldnt work...

just curious what kind of things are you sending home to your families for christmas?

I got my dad one of the laser engraved stamps people use here instead of signatures. It had his name in English and Korean, really cool design, with a stand and ink pad. It sits proudly on his office desk.

On the bright side, one less relative to get a gift for.

Korean scarves are always good for the women, also Ramyeon noodles are also appreciated by the younger relatives to beef up their gifts.
Have bought dad the belt/wallet gift sets and all stuff like that. This year bought him a nice stainless steel insulated cup and lid to take coffee or tea with him while driving. I llike mine, so I figured he would like one too, especially in the cold days next year.
Sent a 10Kg box last week.

What would you get him if you weren't in Korea? My dad likes books, and those are readily available for online shopping.
