And he's a receiver no less. Looks like his Korean blood runs thick! Don't think I have to guess if this story will be picked up by the Korean press.

Hines Ward is the dirtiest player in the NFL, according to a Sports Illustrated poll of 296 players released this week. The poll was conducted in September and included these other well-known names in the Top 15.

Well another thing is that i think since he catches so many players unguarded or unassuming and he hits them so damn hard that they get pissed at him. So when you have a guy half your size cleaning your clock, you're going to assume it was because he was dirty.

Dirty?

What the hell? Back in the day, we called it "being physical". What would a coach rather have, a big phyical guy like Hines Ward, or some Nancy who plays 2 hand touch with opposing players?

It's funny cause a lot of those guys are some of the best in their respective positions. Sounds to me like a bunch of sore losers Rolling Eyes Though, I have heard several different reports about Hines Ward being a dirty player.

By definition, the game is dirty. He's just taking oppurtunities to nail D backs when he gets the chance. The D backs just don't expect it and they get pissed off.

I don't think he's dirty at all. Extremely physical though, and like others have said, he hits DB's and chance he gets.

Heinz is one of the best players currently in the NFL. He forces players to be engaged in the game from snap to whistle.

Don't hate the player....

Na. he hits them without the ball and after the play is over. You watch the videos of him. In Rugby he'd be penalised for late hits. can't figure out why he isn't penalised, but watch he's old, and it wont be long before someone gets his number. Tyhey'll cripple him.

The running back or reciever misses his reception, and Ward can see it as plain as day. But he keeps on plowing into him. Nobody else does that. They hold up as good sportsman always do.
