Trio of 2 guitarists (one also plays bass too) and a violinist are entertaining the idea of another member. We are already a house band and looking to expand out from there. Our music covers the likes of INXS, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson, Bill Withers, STP and more. We are also dipping into a deep pool of original tunes, some with a Latin bent.

The ideal person:
1) Has an easy personality (if you confused by why you've been dropped from bands in the past, don't respond)
2) Sings reasonable well or has an easily identifiable range.
3) Plays their instrument with passable proficiency
4) Plays keyboards, percussion (see below about loudness), fiddle, cello etc.
5) Male or female (hell, both if that's your deal)
6) Lives in Incheon (YeonsuGu) and has the ability to get themselves around with much hand holding.

Not too interested in:
1) Egos
2) Sax, tuba or other unmutable (sp?) loud instruments that will require us to rent a performance studio. If you plays a small, controllable drum kit, who knows?
3) Someone in this for the money. We do not have proper Visas so we do not get paid. We play for fun and socialization.
4) Someone with a contract about to expire in less than 6 months

Other details:

Practice and/or performance is usually on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights, with some Wednesday morning practices with 2 of the 3 members.
We currently have a PA system at our disposal.
Two of the musicians are current or former professionals with a good deal of experience, I'm the weak link and we still have FUN. Vocals are very important to us.

PM me for more info or to express interest.

Sweet...for YOU! We've loosened up our connection with one member who lives in Suwan because the commute was brutal to Songdo. She was a perfect fit and we loved playing together. Another guy is in the same situation but we knew better than to push him into joining. This is why we are looking for Incheon area musicians.

Suwan seems to be brimming with players. Songdo is not.

Juan is just up the street about 5 km by car...but a btch by subway. We are in Songdo at the end of the Incheon line. That's as much our problem as our gain, oddly.

No Youtube yet but it's going to have to happen soon. Ages range from early 30's to early 40's.

Easter,
We're playing at On The Map near Juan Friday the 20th. Due to scheduling our violinist won't be there but we'll have some fun regardless. On The Map and my band Hazel are both on Facebook.

Cheers,
Stan
