Can any Irish people in Korea tell me how long it took to get their Visa from the embassy in Dublin?

Thanks

3-4 days I think, after I submitted the visa issuance number and everything. That was a year and a half ago.
How long have you been waiting?

only takes a couple of days to get it from them. Would it not be possible for you to visit the korean embassy in south africa? I'm not sure if it works or not but surely it's worth trying to find out from them if you can get your interview and issue there.

If people can get visas in japan surely you can get it in s.a. Try talking to them, i would imagine it's jus a matter of getting your documents from ireland sent to korea and them sending you the visa number and you can get it issued then

Again i don't know if this is possible, just making a suggestion

You're supposed to have an interview at the Korean embassy in your home country the first time you apply, I don't know how strict that is in practice though. It's worth a shot anyway.

The first time you apply you have to have an interview from your home country.

So i have to fly to Ireland. Yikes...

that's crazy, whats the difference between an interview in south africa than one in Ireland....with the obvious exception of you are guaranteed to get rained on in ballsbridge when you to the embassy!!

You should stay in s.a till after next summer, go watch the world cup
