Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has taken the KTX from Cheonan-Asan station to Mokpo?

I was looking on the Seoul subway map and I see that it says Asan station, but does anyone know if you have to get off at Cheonan station, and then wait to get to Asan station and if Asan station is where you actually catch the KTX to Mokpo or from Asan station you have to go to a different station called Cheonan-Asan station?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I'm not interested in anyone telling me to head into Yongsan or Seoul station as that would defeat the purpose.

'Asan subway-station' and 'Cheonan-Asan KTX train-station' are next to each other. one station, two different names.

at the bottom of this page you can see '아산 Asan' with KTX mark next to it.

There is no KTX to Mokpo as the line hasn''t been built past daejeon yet. It will go as slow as a normal train.

set the stations to 천안아산 and 목포 (if you select 아산, it will only display trains on the janghan line)

set 열차종별 to KTX and then hit search... you will see a list of times available for the train

Good advice if you know Korean. If you don't, there's an English language option on the top right. After it redirects you to the English site, scroll over "Booking" and select "Book Online." You'll find everything you need to know about routes, times, fares, etc., there.
