http://blackoutkorea.com/

I have always been pretty impressed with Koreans ability to take a nap or pass out anywhere.

Amusing enough. As a non-native speaker I have to ask. Is losing consciousness the same as blacking out? In my native tongue a blackout would be to have lost memory of a period of time.

Yes, you can black out and still be doing things as many drunk people later find out.

My initial thoughts were that this is a thread about power failures but then I remembered where I am.

My last black-out had me finding photos of myself (of the previous night) on my phone which I did not take Embarassed

So far I always made it home before passing out permanently but I can never remeber how I got there.

In this, ESL teachers and business expatriates share at least one common experience Wink

Yes, and at least in my dialect of American English, these people would definitely be "passed out" not "blacked out."

I need to get my replacement power cord for my digicam ASAP! I got a great one of a passed out guy in Yeoksam where one of my friends points her fingers at the guy Lynndie England style. The only sad thing is that you can't make out the drool that was coming down from his mouth.

Beautiful Blog.

I have a picture somewhere of a guy passed out on the street... at about 5 pm. I'll try to find it and send it to that blog.
