Have you spotted anything? I guess the Korean War was both almost 60 years ago and the number of heritage or just plain older buildings is limited. However, there must be the odd bit about.

Yanghwajin Foreigners Cemetary has some.

Anywhere else?

Some mountains still have bunkers that were used during that time but have growth covering them as they aren't used anymore. I encountered that on the mountain behind Sadang Station.

Over on the East coast there are look-out posts to watch the sea for intruders. There is also an old ship or submarine for visiting at about 3,ooo원 a head.
Some of the damaged stones in the foreigners cemetery was done by the Japanese prior to the Korean war. Most places/palaces have been damaged at some point, but always reconstructed.

Hey- I'm still at Randolph AFB for the 2-week long seminar, but I thought I'd pop my head in and say "hi".

If you go to the foreigner's cemetery in Hapjeong (Lines 2/6), you will see heavy machine gun damage on some of the headstones. Evidently, there was a fierce firefight there during one of the battles for Seoul.
