I got this in my email today. He knew my real name which is a bit scary.

I got the same email when I was living in the States. I signed up for some ESL recruiting sites and thats where I think they got my info. There were also some Craigslist job offers that were similar. Total bunk i'm sure. |

I've seen this one too. I'm not sure what the catch is exactly.
Probably just the old bait and switch.
"I appreciate your interest but the position has been filled, HOWEVER, I know someone else who has seen your resume and..."  |

I don't think that's the catch...
It's probably the "must be willing to relocate" bit. They'll probably recommend some specific, crooked, non-existent travel agency, or just flat out ask for the money to buy you a plane ticket then bow out. |

Yep, or it seems for vaccination payments as well.
I can't believe people are falling for this even after reading about it being a scam.
