Last Fri 13th of the year.. Confused
Gloomy rainy morning.
All the classes were awful.
Kids bouncing off the wall.

Anyone else share this experience today? Wink

Nope. They have been lovely (so far). It's a weird gradient: Monday's classes are straight from the hellmouth; Friday's classes restore my faith in studentkind. Every week. Rinse and repeat.

My kids are in a great mood since we had the day off yesterday.
I on the other hand got reacquainted with Cafri last night...

They're pretty wild here. Thankfully Friday is my light day with only 4th grade and Teacher's Class. I can only hope that their insanity was enough to tire the teachers out and keep them away from teacher's class.

My experience at a boys' middle school is that the kids are generally okay unless there's some kind of special event that week. The day following the special event, the kids are demons. This week, said special event was coming to school late due to the high school seniors taking the college entrance tests. Too bad the government doesn't do that on Friday!

What a timely post. Seriously! Last year all the teachers left the school for a meeting and I was left alone to care for the entire elementary school and guess what happened?

So today the brain trust that be is doing the same thing. I'm sitting here among chaos as the children run wild. I tried to explain to the principal that it's not a good idea to leave me alone with the kids, which fell on deaf ears.

So far today, one girl has a bloody nose, two more are crying and basically I'm just trying to put out any other fires that may start.

Of course, tomorrow I'll probably get an earful for my lack of proper supervision. Rolling Eyes

My dad died on Friday the 13th just before Father's Day last year, 13 days before his birthday.

It's an unlucky day for me. I'll just stay home today: to hell with the world.
