That still doesn't set the record straight on how a journalist with a record of hit pieces loaded with inaccurate and unchecked statistics gets a "Reporter of the Month" award.

I'm amazed that they printed an article featuring the word "foreigner" and DIDN'T mention AIDS or drugs. Surprised

You forgot to add raping Korean women and molesting children.

A couple of people mentioned in that thread the bit about the unprofessional E-mail address.

I wonder ho many articles the KT will print from readers challenging Oh. I know of several people who wrote articles for publication that were well written about different issues and they were never published. It seems though whenever Steve Schertzer or Dave Theissen write something up its immediately front page news.

This article is a 'great' way to get people on your side -tell them they are wrong and you are right!!! Rolling Eyes

It comes across as totally defensive, blatantly advertising guilt for the activities with which it says it has nothing to do. What a p1ss poor attempt at institutional face saving.

I just thought it was a bit peculiar as an email address for a newspaper, particularly one given at the end of an article trying to mollify public opinion.

Some of the email addresses for the KBS News reporters crack me up. Weezer@KBS is one of my favorites.

Matt: I read it as calicoe referring to the unprofessional E-mail address as being pretty <bleep> amazing? Is that correct, calicoe?

I originally took the post to be snarky but then realised I have probably had too much coffee today and overreacted so changed my post accordingly. Apologies to calicoe if she saw my previous post before it was altered.

Yeah, that's exactly right. I took another look at my post and thought there was a slight chance it would be misunderstood, and I guess I was right.
