Pizza Hut charged us 25,000 won for this tiny pizza (not including sides)! This is what they're calling a Medium these days. It's not any bigger than my stretched hand. What's a small? Bite-sized?
Is it this expensive back home?

| Looks about the same size as the 6000 won pizza at Pizza Maru. |

Places like Pizza School and Pizza Maru are sometimes not much like pizza. Most are merely a piece of dough with a smidge or red sauce and a few cheese specks. |

| dominoes and pizza hut are crazy expensive. But I would get dominoes about once a month to cheer me up after a bad day. |

| Pizza isn't nearly as expensive at Pizza Hut or Dominos if you don't order one of the Korean-style full of crap pizzas. A large pepperoni pizza is generally less than 15,000 won. |

I was told you're only really supposed so order at Dominoes if you have a discount ticket. The more overpriced food is, the more discount you can usually get. |

Pizza Mall at New Core Outlet in Ilsan has a legit large size pizza with sausage, bell peppers, pepperonis and onions for 9,500.
I feel for you guys who have to order overpriced chain. I am tempted by Papa John's every once in a while though.
Are there any sit-in and eat PJ's locations? Or are they all just takeout/delivery? |

That seems like a bit of a rip off.
We got Pizza Hut about a month ago. The GF had a coupon for the Coconut Shrimp. I think it was about 29,000, with 35,000 being the regular price. It was ginormous. About 10 massive slices and two filled me up significantly. I can eat a large pizza hut pizza from NZ with impunity. It was also freakn delicious. Heaps of shrimp and delicious coconut sauce.
If I order pizza, I usually get one from delivered from a local joint. They do about the calibre of a really good frozen pizza (very similar to yours) from back home, with a pepsi and cheese ddokbokki for 14,000.
Maybe they have a minimum delivery and you payed 27K for a 14K pizza?
Anyways, get coconut shrimp next time is my advice. |

| The real pizzas are crazy expensive, no doubt, but I treat myself to some papa john's every now and then. I've never cared for pizza hut, here or back home. |

It's sad that we actually consider Papa Johns good pizza (and have to pay 20,000 won for a large pizza). I recommend everyone get an SK or KTF (Show) card to get a 15-20% discount |

| That would be like a 7,000 won pizza at Pizza Etang or one of the other Korean pizza chains. You're paying for the brand name. |

Papa Johns. 'nuff said.
In fact, I think I am taking my daughter there for dinner this evening. |
