So I need to apply for Alien Registration within the next 2 weeks. I have a few problems though.
1) I don't have a printer, therefore I can't print the application form.
2) I don't have any passport sized photographs.
Is it possible to get it done at the Immigration Office? If not, how?
Also, I heard from another topic that they don't speak english there :S
Is that true? Because my Korean isnt the best and that would be a little strange... |

First gig, huh?
1. They have forms at immigration.
2. You can get pictures done ANYWHERE: homeplus, subways, the guy who has the little photoshop down the street.
3. The people at immigration work at immigration; I think that they are going to know what do despite a minor language barrier.
Good luck with your stay here. |

1) You can also use a PC Bang to print out the form. They're everywhere. Walk around your neighbourhood and you should see numerous signs saying "PC방". Go into them and ask the guy or girl on the desk "printer?" and they should understand English well enough to say yes or no. Not all PC Bangs have printers.
2) You can also get your photos done at immigration (or you could 3 years ago when I got my ARC done). Maybe someone else can confirm that they're still there.
3) I've never had a language issue at immigration. Everyone I've ever dealt with has spoken English well enough to do their job.
Question: Isn't your employer helping you with this? Surely you could at least use a printer at your school? |
