1. Gives profits away to save lives, not zen master training lessons
2. Doesn't care about what he wears, as it doesn't matter - not going with an artsy 101 black turtle neck and jeans for the last 12years because it's an image
3. Believing in an OS that is open for vendors to join in and create, not monopolizing 3rd party contributors (the biggest fault of the Mac OS until 1995)
4. Kept his operation in his home state cause it's not cool to move operations to silicon valley, just because it's a hub.
5. Kept his closest buddies in the operation, not stealing from them (jobs took 80% or more of initial apple 1 sales by deceiving woz into thinking there were much less profits [iCon book reference]), and then, eventually, putting 'em out to pasture (uncool of all uncools)
6. didn't disown and deny (fatherhood) his child LISA, just because she was born out of wedlock (also refusing child support for several years)
7. Spent his teen years relying on the power of his mind, unaltered. not relying on drugs to get the brain running just because it was the cool thing to do (not to mention getting on drugs and getting zen in Indian, as jobs did)
8. Dropped out of Harvard cause he was disinterested - coolest of the cool. Skipped a load of Harvard classes to play poker
9. bailed apple computers out, financially, when it was on the verge of a hostile asian take-over just before Steve Job's was handed the keys to apple (again) in the late 90's
10. Saw what he wanted and took it. Life's too short for gentile-isms, and good manners.
11 Dumped a load of microsoft money to get back market share in console gaming (from the japanese) - something we created and let the japanese take over
12. Ran the company himself, or relied on his best original friends to run it. Didn't bring in some Fortune 500 CEO hotshot because that's the formula for corporate management - so uncool
13. Part of a recipe for getting notebooks/netbooks down to $199 for internet surfing machines. Not $1200, just because the logo is cool, and the fans are loyal - just lame and retarded.

the list goes on

and so on

No doubt, Jobs is a *beep*. He bent over Woz and f-cked him in the ass. It was Wozniak's design that made Apple so excellent.

But Jobs is a damn good salesman, and unfortunately, those who can influence become successful.

But Gates is also a *beep*. There's a reason that Microsoft went to court for violating competition laws.

So I guess the lesson we learned today is that pricks get ahead in life.
