I have my state criminal background check and it is already notarized and apostilled. I did not have to submit fingerprints for this check. Will this cause any problems with the Korean government? On the form that I got back, it states that no record was found for me. It also very helpfully states that without a fingerprint check, there is no way to guarantee that the person they checked was the same person the check was requested for - something like that. As I provided my full name, social security number, and present address, I have no doubt that they did check my background and no one else's. I'm sure the wording is for legal reasons or a similar purpose, but is it going to cause me any problems with the government? Are they going to question my cbc because of this? Any info would be appreciated. |
