I have my state criminal background check and it is already notarized and apostilled. I did not have to submit fingerprints for this check. Will this cause any problems with the Korean government? On the form that I got back, it states that no record was found for me. It also very helpfully states that without a fingerprint check, there is no way to guarantee that the person they checked was the same person the check was requested for - something like that. As I provided my full name, social security number, and present address, I have no doubt that they did check my background and no one else's. I'm sure the wording is for legal reasons or a similar purpose, but is it going to cause me any problems with the government? Are they going to question my cbc because of this? Any info would be appreciated.

No trouble at all. I did the same thing.
