Sure takes a long time to load. I'm on KT.... lite, I think.
Edit: WOW. I downloaded the 904mb Mp4 file (I've got a pro account). Amazing it's all CGI. The man, if he's actually drawn with CGI, had to have been the most difficult part of the video to make. |

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
And itaewon guy, I was thinking the very same thing about what this might mean for video games. I remember back when FF VIII came out, and my jaw dropped at the intro. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever, graphically. Now people are capable of creating exponentially better (EDIT: I meant, better looking) stuff like this--individual people! One guy created the entire video, INCLUDING the music.
Now imagine what a video game dev. group with a huge bankroll like Hideo Kojima's team could do in the future.
Of course, I think it's still going to be a while before all CG of this level will become the norm in video games. The time spent post-processing/perfecting everything couldn't possibly be worth it... at least for now.
I can't wait to see the kind of games that will be available even a decade from now. |

1. the out-of-focus shots were annoying, even if intended to provide action and setting for when moved into sharp focus
2. the living things were less impressive (grass awful, trees off, especially the bark, the people clearly CGI'd)
3. Hollywood has nothing to fear from this, in fact, it'll be embraced and in addition to make-up and set design Oscars there will be new computer generation Academy Award categories |

Imagine the loading times if stuff like that was made into a game (with today's tech). |
