I about fell down when I saw them at the Homever in Incheon. Three smallish limes for 2,300 is resonable after smuggling them in in shoes for the US, Japan or Thailand. I have heard of them costing 5,000 in Itaewan.
1/4 - 1/2 lime
A tablespoon of shredded ginger
1/2 cup gin
Honey to taste
Crushed ice
Crush the ginger, honey and lime together in the bottom of a glass tumbler. Add cold gin and ice. |

That price is really low.
My cousin works at a bar in Chungdam and she tells me the bar buys 'em wholesale at W3500 a piece... which would explain why it normally costs W20,000 for a vodka lime at her place. :/ |
