|
|
I'm in a public school.
This Friday my co-teacher will be watching students who get the vaccine.
I have the option to cancel the English classes on Friday, or teach them along with the homeroom teacher.
Two of the classes are good, two are "hell" you may say.
What would you do in such a case?
Will I still be paid in full if I do cancel Friday's classes? |

this isn't a public school afterschool program, is it?
if it's regular public school you will still be paid in full. i have classes cancelled all the time for things, and although sometimes they are rescheduled, they never deduct from my pay. |

These are regular scheduled classes.
I'm new to this school. I've had teachers classes canceled (I have to teach some teachers English twice a week), but they get rescheduled to a different day/time. |

They gave you the option? Awesome.
If you think you can handle it and want some cred, teach the classes. Otherwise, cancel them. They are regular classes so you won't lose pay. You'll probably have to teach a double lesson the next time you see them, but that's worth it. |
