The room I'm living in right now is way too cold. And I don't control the heat settings here. So, before I have a discussion with the landlord about it, I'd like to collect some numerical data (i.e., what's the temperature in this room).
Back in the home country I'd just walk into a hardware store and buy one. Not sure where to do that here.
I live in Jamsil district but can travel if anyone knows where to get one.
Thanks. |

I've usually seen thermometers on little desk clocks. Try a stationary store like Linko's in COEX. |

Thanks, eamo. I'm still hoping some more knowledgeable suggestions will materialize too.
Cheers. |

I've been thinking about getting one and just looked at the Korean GMarket website and they have them. If you can read Korean type 온도계 for just the thermometer or 온도계 습도계 for a thermometer/humidity reader. They seem to be going for between 9,000 and 19,000 won. They're also available on the English GMarket site. However, I usually go through the Korean site as it's got more variety and is often cheaper. |
