Hi all-

I have a few weeks of winter vacation to kill and (a little) money to burn. I need to go down to Jeonju to take care of some business, so that will be a 2-3 day trip. I have also been thinking of going the Tongyeong/Namhae/Goeje-do area, but will it be bitterly cold if I head there next week? What about Hongdo off of Mokpo (even colder)? Will Jeju be better (I've been there before, but wouldn't mind going again)?

Also, is there a nice scenic spa area that would be good to spend a day NEAR Seoul but not IN Seoul? I keep hearing about some Asan Spa paradise thing. Went to Osaek springs a few weeks ago, and was not impressed.

The Miranda Hotsprings are in Ichon (not Inchoen) an hour bus ride out of Seoul-not bad with some decent motels around it so you can make a couple of days of it....
