Has anyone one ever had to do this...I recently lost my keys on the road and need to get replacement motorcycle keys...do I just go to a bike shop or do I have to contact a dealer?

If you have spares, just go to a local key cutting shop andhave a second pair made.

If you have no spares, from what I know you have to get a new ignition assembly. You can't just have another key made up without a key to copy, so you have to get a whole new system...so off to the mechanic.
