KT tell me my new building doesn't have fiber optic cabling for a 100mb/sec connection. Only 10mb/sec... eeeeek!!! Shocked

What other options are there for high-speed internet?

Wow......at least they were honest for once......

The standard cable connection will be plenty fast. You could still get downloads speeds of near 10mbps.........I know I've got that in Korea with standard cable.

I see... being computer illiterate I thought 10mbps would mean 10% slower than what I'm used to. But if I can still download plenty torrents, then no worries.

Use your local cable TV provider. They can give you 100mps out of a TV cable (and they'll snake it in the corner of your window, if you don't already have cable TV). Probably cheaper, too.

I don't have cable TV and not interested in getting...not a TV person. Is it still a worthwhile option?
