The job market blows in America, so I am traveling to Korea to teacha the English to young hogwan students. I depart tomorrow for a bastard of a flight (6 hour layover in Chicago and 13 hour time difference from EST puts the estimated time of arrival at the ass crack of dawn on Friday) I just thought I would say hello to all you misanthropes. Hello! |

Good luck, and have a safe flight! Try and sleep on the plane since your first 24 hours in Korea will be sleepless |

Hope you already got your visa because if you didn't, you'll have to make a visa run back to the States. Or just teach privates. |

Yup, the Visa is squared away. I had to drive to New York do the formal interview thing since I'm from Pennsylvania, which was a principal joke.
"So, you've driven hundreds of miles to be here; do you like teaching? Okay, present this receipt which we gave you prior to the interview to pick up your Visa at around 3 tomorrow."
Oh well, it will be worth it to get out and see another country/culture. Also looking forward to experiencing the accolades with regards to the women and food as well as trying to pick up a second language (High school Espanol hardly counts). |
