I live near Jukjeon station, and bought a good computer desk at a must-sell price near Sinchon. A guy with a truck in that area was asking 100,000 just to bring it here from there. Is that unreasonable? It is if I can get it cheaper. Any suggestions? Put them here, or PM me with a rate, if you know, and phone number, if you have it (or some kinda way to contact someone). My co-teacher can call for me, so no language problem.
Thanks. My shoebox really needs that desk to take up a little more of the space! |

You could hire a 'jumbo taxi' if it will fit in there.
If not, you should be able to get a guy with a truck much cheaper than that. Your coworker should now how to get a guy with a truck. Tell him to search on Naver. 100k is too expensive. A simple delivery like that should be about 30k-40k. |

Here is the phone number of a moving company that I have used five times: 018-323-3628.
That is the cell phone number of the driver I used every time except for the third time. He speaks English and is a nice guy. When I used him he brought a family-sized van and helped with the manual labor of transporting my stuff to and from his vehicle and sometimes he brought a moving cart that made moving things to and from his vehicle easier.
I don't know the phone number of the actual moving company's headquarters. There website was and still might be: www.7626.co.kr
I paid different amounts each time but I dont remember it ever being more than 40,000 won.
Good luck!
