| Was looking to try diving in a month or 2. Was wondering if any one had clear info on the best places to learn in Vietnam, Cambodia (if they even have it), or Thailand. Thanks in advance! |

| I took some courses in Phuket Thailand. The diving is good and its pretty cheap. I saw a whale shark my first time out along with countless other things. I can recommend a shop if you like. |

| I believe that Vietnam has the cheapest OW courses in SE Asia. |

| Vietnam does have the cheapest OW Cert last time I checked. In my opinion it would be worth paying slightly more to do your OW in Thailand just for the fact that the conditions would be more favorable, ie(healthy...well healthier reef, numerous dive spots) |
