not a frequent flyer so I need some help here. If you bought a ticket home for Christmas intending to come back to Korea month later, but are probably going to change your plans (family illness etc) and not use the return portion of your ticket, what to do? Just not show up? If the ticket is non-refundable you will not get any money back for the unused portion, I assume, and you might even have to pay a cancellation fee if you inform them?

Does it depend on the airline?
