Next year I will complete one year in Korea, teaching for EPIK. When I interviewed for this and other positions, I was asked things about my health, such as if I was taking any medication. I was not then, but have had some health problems (though none affecting my ability to teach) since I arrived here, so my answers would be different now.
Question: are interviews and hiring standards for people with experience here the same as for those who have never worked in Korea? Would my new health history hurt my chances to get a new position the same as if I had never worked here, or would employers now care more about my Korea teaching work history instead?
Thanks again! |

If it doesn't affect your work, keep it quiet. It's a private matter, they don't need to know. |

They will still care, and ask, because they want to know if you will pass the medical and get a visa. If you have an ailment that will prevent you from passing the medical,m or that might flag in the medical...tell them. If it's nothing that's going to get in the way, just don't mention it. |
