I'm returning to korea for a second year and I've applied with EPIK. To my surprise they need another copy of my criminal record check which I don't have. I send in the originals when I applied for my first visa. I don't have time to get and apostille a CRC back home before the contract would start, I'm busy up until then.
Anyone else been in this situation? What are my options? If I contacted immigration could they send me a copy of that first CRC? |

OP,
1. You're not 'renewing'; and,
2. This may come as a , but Kimmi doesn't care about your 'time line'.

EPIK /offices of education and the immigration do not hold each others original Apostilled papers for any visa. They do separate processes in separate ways.
EPIK issues notices of appointment from their own offices therefore they WILL need new paperwork from you.
EPIK have no access to go and get your previous police check and records or papers from the immigration office that processed your last job in Korea
You do need to do a complete new set of documents for the EPIK visa and jump through all the EPIK hoops. (in time ot meet the EPIK "send the papers quick" to keep the job timeframe). |
