I live in Haebangchon. From what I've heard, buying a portable heater saves a lot of coin in the winter time. If anyone is selling one, or knows where to buy one (and how much?) in the neighborhood, please post. Thanks.

Not a direct response to the OP because i don't know about Haebangchon, but you can get a new portable heater for about 40,000 in any Homeplus (or Emart).

These oil heaters are by far the best:

http://www.enuri.com/view/Detailmulti.jsp?modelno=918168&cate=050405&Mname=&fb=1&porder=9&key=popular%20DESC&factory=&search=NO&m_price=&spec=&sel_spec=&pagesize=20&page=1&keyword=&orgkeyword=&logkeyword=&spec_name=&from=list

They don't dry your skin out like the others do, and put out a warm, soft heat that is very comfortable. Best heaters I've ever had!

Thanks. I can read Korean but barely understand any, which means I'm kind of lost on that link. Do they deliver? Is there a delivery charge? How did you get yours?

OP: you can also find those oil-type radiator heaters for sale at E-mart or Homeplus, last I checked.

Sir, areyoucrazy?? I bought this heater and it is completely worthless. Radiates heat for all of an inch around it. You can only feel its warmth if you're huddled in front of it.

Um... I mean... it's really great. I just decided to go with the apartment's heating system. Anyone want a one day old heater??
