hey guys,

I am a German citizen living in Shanghai. I am currently holding a L Visa (Tourist) which I obtained in Singapore and which is valid for 90 days. After that I can extend it twice for 1 months each time within Shanghai. But then, it expires on July 8th. After that I need to leave China to get another L visa or to apply for a F visa. (I am doing an internship here, so I could provide all the docs for a F visa).

Does anyone know, whether I can get another L visa or even a F visa in Seoul? Or do I have to be registered as a resident in Korea?
Can I get more than 30days??
Also, could someone please give me the telephone number of a good travel agency which I could contact??!!

Any help is highly appreciated Wink
Thx in advance
cheers

Just wanted to give an update on Chinese visa in seoul.

The guard at the Chinese Consulate in Myeongdong(near the Namsam cable car) looked at my American passport and told me i have to apply for the visa through a travel agency, you can't apply directly anymore, according to him.

I read somewhere that you have to have 6 months left of you alien registration card if you want to apply for a visitor visa to China. I want to visit there after my contract is finished but I only have about 4 months left. Is there any way I can still get a visa? btw I am an American Citizen. Thanks
