Nautilus, I don't think it's the British aspect that turns people off... I'm North American and don't get a lot of British humor, either.
It's completely trivializing a very complex, sensitive (for some, I suppose) issue in a very satirical (and racy) way, that could be offensive to some. The best humor, by definition I believe, has to be found offensive by at least some people. I would imagine everything Sasha Cohen does has been found offensive or lame by at LEAST 50% of those that watch it. |
