Hey guys, I have been out of my own country for about a year and a half now and came to Korea without going back home first.
I need to sort out some sort of criminal record check but was wondering the best way to do this. I am a UK citizen and I think I can probably apply for one from the UK but it may be complicated because I am not there. I have heard that people apply for them by going to local police stations in Seoul. Has anyone actually done this and is it a complicated procedure? I have a feeling it is something that could take months to complete instead of weeks.
If the best way is to apply for a normal record check from the UK then how would I go about doing this? The last time I had one done I was in the UK and all I needed to do was to goto the police station, fill in a form and wait but I am assuming it will be more difficult from out here.

Order the basic check from here, get it delivered to your home address back home (NOT Korea). When it turns up in 7-14 days get a relative to DHL it over to you. |
